Bed Bugs are a parasitic insects that have been around for thousands of years. Bed bugs mainly feed on blood. While bed bugs do feed on animals its more noted their gross attractiveness to human blood. While bed bugs are typically nocturnal they have been known to feed off a host in the daylight hours. Making their home around the mattress and headboard give easy access to a host and provide a quick meal. A single bed bug feeding may last up to 5 minutes and the host may never know its there.
